Background
The Absorbent Mind® founded in 2021, is an early literacy program for children between the age group 3 – 12 years.
According to Dr Montessori, the absorbent mind is from birth through the approximate age of six, the young child experiences a period of intense mental activity that allows the child to” absorb” learning from his or her environment without conscious effort, naturally and spontaneously. It is when children soak in information as if they were sponges.
Learning seems to be almost second nature, done without conscious effort.
